About Avia Airsports
Avia Airsports is a division of the Koninklijke Sportieve en Culturele kring of the Belgian Defence, operating from the military air base of Beauvechain on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
The aims of Avia Airsports are to encourage and develop all air activities such as paragliding, delta and microlight flying, as well as to support Defence in its recruitment policy and its communication towards young people, by organising introductory flights.
So we are really a military club by birth, but we are open to civilians too. In fact, our most active members are civilians. It is and remains a leisure activity for everyone, and the day-to-day running of the club is therefore in no way military in nature!
